After more than ten years of research and experimentation, the technical team has mastered the impact of variations in the content of different chemical elements on the performance indicators of titanium alloys by analyzing and studying a large amount of accumulated production data. They can design components according to different application requirements, ensuring that materials better adapt to various processing methods and application needs while meeting standard requirements. This not only satisfies the process requirements during product processing but also guarantees the final performance of the product, thus solving material processing challenges for customers.
The TC4, TB3, TB8, TB9, TC16 and other grades of titanium alloy ingots produced by the company all use self-developed chemical composition formulas. They have been verified by multiple customers over a long period, showing good compositional uniformity and excellent overall performance, earning a good reputation in the industry.

Ultra-high strength bar and wire cold processing technology
Titanium alloy materials above 1000MPa grade have high strength and great resistance to deformation, making cold processing extremely difficult. Some materials are even challenging to process thermally, coupled with high energy consumption and pollution from thermal processing; they are also prone to material contamination, affecting product performance.
Through extensive experimental research, the company has innovatively developed a set of cold processing technology for high-strength titanium alloy bars and wires that adapts to different specifications and strength levels. This technology not only effectively reduces processing energy consumption but also optimizes the internal structure of the material and improves its overall performance by reasonably controlling the amount and rate of deformation, along with a suitable heat treatment regime. The produced titanium alloy bars and wires can achieve strengths exceeding 1700MPa, solving challenges in the engineering manufacturing of certain ultra-high strength titanium alloys.
Bar and wire consistency control technology

Currently, the gap between domestic titanium alloy materials and imported materials mainly lies in consistency. Consistency control mainly includes the following two aspects:

Kohen Titanium stabilizes the Cv value of the organizational performance differences of titanium alloy bar and wire products produced from different furnace batches within 3% through measures such as refining raw material requirements, solidifying composition formulas and production processes, and carrying out automation upgrades.

Bar and wire surface coating technology
In recent years, with the equipment upgrades in the fastener industry, titanium alloy materials for fasteners have gradually begun to use round wire (with coating). However, there are currently no mature coatings and coating production equipment domestically, forcing Chinese fastener companies to import large quantities of foreign round wire, severely restricting this type of material and affecting national aerospace strategic security.
Xi'an Kohen Titanium is dedicated to the research and production of titanium alloy round wire for aerospace applications. In recent years, through continuous exploration and experimentation, they have collaborated with well-known domestic research institutes to conduct research on coating materials and coating process equipment, addressing issues such as coating lubrication effects, adhesion, and heat resistance. They have completed the verification of surface pretreatment, coating, and curing processes for wires and established coating acceptance standards. Currently, the developed TC4 round wire has passed forging experiments at a certain fastener factory, and small batch supplies of TB3, TB9, TA1, and other grades of round wire have begun.
